ESC European Solidarity Corps

The European Solidarity Corps is a new EU project that offers young people opportunities to help communities and individuals through volunteering or paid work in their own country or abroad. European Solidarity Corps projects last from 2 weeks to 12 months and are usually based in an EU country. The European Solidarity Corps brings young people together to build a more inclusive society, support the vulnerable and address societal challenges. Its projects are inspiring and empowering experiences for young people who want to help, learn and develop. Read more: https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en

Kurki Ecovillage Association has been offering volunteering opportunities to young Europeans since 2013. In total, we have had around 70 young volunteers from 11 different countries. Every year, six young volunteers take part in the Sustainability Rules project, which runs from March to the end of November. In addition, the village has run a two-week team project Healing and Empowering Vulnerable Communities through Sustainability. There may be vacancies for these projects throughout the year. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering with us! Send a message to kurkiecovillage (at) gmail.com

We also act as a support organisation for sending young people to volunteer projects with the European Solidarity Corps.
