Kurki Ecovillage Association received a positive decision from Leader Kantri for the Centre for Sustainable Development project application! We receive EU rural funding to renovate an old barn building 🙂
During the project, the barn will be transformed into a sustainable development center, the core of which is the active promotion of a responsible lifestyle and diversity. It will become an accessible, versatile space for the activities of the association and external parties. The sustainable development center can host cultural events, trainings, courses, exercise groups, hobbies and other events related to a sustainable lifestyle for different age and reference groups. It should be ready by the end of 2027. Maybe soon we will be dancing here, holding wellness workshops and practicing the alphabet of self-sufficient living. Maybe your work community wants to spend development days in the peace of the countryside. Maybe you are longing for a peaceful but communal space for your own projects and activities. All this and much more to come! We will also offer this space to other actors, so please keep an eye on the updates!
